Domaine des Fauves, Les Abrets, France
A wonderfully arranged park, focusing mainly on "big cats", very friendy owners and staff, very clean beautiful walkways and green areas, basically an extremely pleasant day out! Only downside: not much choice of food to buy, so pack a picnic, but it's worth spending the day here!

Bird World, Kuranda, Australia
Walk around this giant bird aviary, feed them or simply see which ones land on your shoulder! This little one took to me strait away, no food needed!

Switzerland, Zoo de la Garenne
The "zoo de la Garenne" is a wildlife park that takes in, rehabilitates and releases if possible, native and non-native species. It is a wonderful foundation and should be greatly encouraged!
